- Our chair has a rounded bottom and rounded or shelled back to fit your body’s curves and give you a very relaxing comfort.
- Our furniture is designed with back legs. The use of back legs not only makes our furniture sturdy but also adds strength and durability.
- We use stainless steel bolts that will not rust or corrode
- All our screw holes are counter sunk below the wood surface and then plugged using wooden plugs and sanded flush. This reduces risk of the wood cracking at the screw holes and gives our furniture a smooth and snag free surface.
- We use 4 screws per seat slat and back slat (two per side). This adds strength and durability by giving us a strong secure fasten of all the seat slats and back slats. The edges are rounded over by a ½”. This gives our furniture a smooth sculptured look and feel and provides a snag free surface. Rounding over the edges also gives our furniture a quality look and feel.

Our furniture is constructed of Kiln dried 5/4” Dark Red Meranti Variety Mahogany. We use 5/4” lumber throughout our entire product line, with the finished thickness of 1 1/16” thick. Mahogany is a tropical hardwood that is easily maintained and is insect, fungus and rot resistant. It is a hard and strong wood comparable in strength to Oak and Teak, and is much more scratch resistant than Cedar or Pine. With the best regards for our environment we take every effort to ensure that our Mahogany is sourced from well-managed permanent forests that allocate re-plantation.

I purchased these chairs after careful consideration of all types, sizes and shapes of Adirondacks. It was a risk without having the chance to sit in them. You could tell by the photos that they would be comfortable, and they are! They are molded to the shape of your body. You can sit in these chairs all day and still be able to get up! We didnt purchase the ottoman because we use these chairs around a fire pit that we build out of stone pavers, so we can prop our feet up on that comfortably. We have a "beach" in that area of our backyard, where we brought in a couple of truck loads of sand. So the chairs sit in sand and are simply perfect! Smooth, no rough edges, and very well-built. I suspect that they will last years and years and years.
