As the sun goes down and after a stressful day at work, we have a beautiful fire to enjoy in an instant. Our cats even love to cuddle up on us and watch the flames. Love it, Love it...

Apearance wise this pit is perfect except it does need more lava rocks. A lot more. Biggest bummer is the hissing sound. Mine seems very loud. I am hoping that there is a fix, otherwise it's crank up the radio. Good bargain for the money compared to pits costing over 1,000 bucks.

This firepit gives off enough warmth for chilly evenings, but would not be of much help on really cold nights. It looks very nice burning, especially after we added extra lava rocks. There is some "hissing sound" from the propane but it isn't bad. We bought this as a starting point to see how we like an outdoor gas firepit in place of our usual wood fire that is currently impossible because of extreme drought. We really enjoyed being able to sit outside by a fire with visiting friends over the Holidays. Note, we are in the Mountains of NC and our friends came up from Florida- they stayed warm enough to be comfortable and plan to order a Del Rio Fire Pit, saying that it is perfect for their patio in Orlando.

This item was just what I was loking for. I will be telling my friends about it. One more small Y log would have made it more perfect.
