This very special light of the North Sea and the atmosphere of Drachmann’s time have inspired the design of the furniture that is named after the artist.The Drachmann range with the characteristic cross in the back and the simple, honest construction acts as today’s icon for modern design based on the tradition and aesthetics of the past.

About Skagerak Denmark and Teak
Teak grows in South-East Asia. The planks are dark with a golden or greenish hue, often with appreciable iridescence. In some planks the grain can appear almost black. Teak is heavy, hard and stable. With its high content of naturally impregnating oils, teak is extremely resistant to wet and dry rot.
Teak is used for our Hardwood Plank, Ship’s Plank, 3-Layer Plank, Teak Marine and Decking Plank.
