Base Options for XS-Series Deckmount Plate 10” dia. X 1/2” thick aluminum plate to be mounted to any solid, even surface with 4 – 3/8” bolts. Umbrella support tube is quickly removable from the plate. Recommended in windy areas.

Ground Insert Base Stainless steel sleeve to be cemented into the ground. Umbrella support tube is quickly removable from the top plate to leave a totally flush surface. Recommended in windy areas.

SPA Base Powder-coated steel plate slides 18” underneath spa and is held by its weight. Requires bolting the upright plate to the spa skirting for stability. May not work correctly on skirting with a bottom lip, or with insufficient backing. This base works best with R-series umbrellas.

Freestanding 4-Prong Base Powder-coated steel base frame with adjustable extension to accept 18” or 20” square patio pavers as weights. Minimum recommended weight is 200 lbs,. Not recommended in windy areas. This is default base for all R-series umbrellas.

Freestanding Base- Offset 2- piece aluminum base for use with 20” square patio pavers only. Provides extra space in front of the umbrella pole, as well the weight is offset to the back. Base size is 20” x 42” Requires min. 4 pavers / 240 lbs. Not recommended in windy areas. (Additional $87.- To umbrella price).

FIM Limited Warranty

FIM Manufacturing Inc. warrants to the consumer that this product is free from manufacturer defects in material or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase when used in compliance with directions as outlined in the manufacturer’s instructions, which includes reasonable and necessary maintenance by the consumer.

Failure to follow the given assembly, maintenance and care instructions may void your product warranty. In case of manufacturing defects in material or workmanship, FIM Manufacturing Inc. agrees to, at their discretion, repair, remedy or place any defective umbrella or awning part without charge for the first two (2) years warranty period.

For the subsequent three (3) years, FIM will supply replacement parts free of charge to the customer as determined necessary by our customer service center. To be covered under this warranty, claims and repairs must be made by/to the authorized FIM dealer most convenient to the consumer.

As the consumer, you assume all cost incurred in shipping your unit to a repair location specified by FIM Manufacturing. The repaired unit/parts will be returned to the consumer freight prepaid.

Any implied warranty is limited in duration to the five (5) years provided in this, the only, expressed warranty.

EXCLUSIONS: No responsibility is assumed for incidental or consequential damages. Warranty does not cover any damage due to improper installation, adverse weather conditions, wind, misuse, neglect, lack of reasonable maintenance, or the use of any unauthorized attachments. Any damages cause by external force or factors (e.g. broken or bent umbrella ribs, scratched finish, punctures, abrasions or burn holes in the fabric etc.) is explicitly excluded from warranty coverage. Warranty is void if unit is subjected to unauthorized service by anyone other than a FIM dealer or FIM Manufacturing Inc. For umbrellas used in commercial/contract applications the warranty period is one (1) year from installation date.
